Join our client’s elite support team at the European Patent Office (EPO) in München, providing multilingual technical and administrative assistance for key users of European patent systems. The role is part of a prestigious international environment, supporting innovation and intellectual property protection across Europe.
We are looking for a motivated, service-oriented professional who is eager to begin their career in a dynamic and multicultural workplace. No prior experience in IT or service desk roles is required – a comprehensive training program will be provided.
Be the first point of contact for EPO users by phone, email, webform, and internal chat
Provide empathetic, efficient, and professional support to users, including patent lawyers, companies, and inventors
Guide users step-by-step to resolve issues and provide information
Open and track tickets in ServiceNow and escalate if needed
Stay updated on new tools, procedures, and product functionalities
Work closely with your team and supervisors in a collaborative, international environment
Contribute to continuous improvement by gathering feedback and helping refine processes
Learn the specific terminology and systems related to the patent sector
C1 level (or higher) in German and English – verbal fluency and written proficiency in English are essential
Conversational level (B2 or higher) in French
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with digital tools and willing to learn new systems
Strong sense of organisation, time management, and reliability
A natural inclination to help and support others
Team player who can also work independently
Previous experience in customer support, hospitality, administration, or similar roles
Familiarity with ticketing or CRM systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
Already living in or near Munich, or willing to relocate (relocation support provided)
Location: Onsite in München Germany (3 days in office / 2 remote after training)
Contract: Fixed-term contract (12 months) with possibility of permanent hire
Relocation package: Provided (transport, 1 month accommodation)
Work schedule: Rotating shifts between 07:30 and 19:30
Start date: immediate/ASAP
