Join our client’s elite technical team in Rome, supporting key activities for European space programs. The company is a long-standing partner of space agencies and institutions, with deep expertise in IT systems, operations, and engineering support for ground segment infrastructures.
We are looking for a hands-on System Administrator with a solid Linux background, familiarity with databases, and a B2 level of English. If you’re curious about space, eager to work in a structured and international context, and ready to support a technically robust environment — this role is for you.
Provide operational and system-level support for test and validation environments
Support the writing and review of technical documentation
Participate in system verification and validation activities
Interface with technical teams during testing and deployment phases
Assist with monitoring, log analysis, and problem troubleshooting
Collaborate with engineers to ensure system integrity during operational phases
Good knowledge of Linux environments
Familiarity with at least one relational database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
English proficiency (minimum B2) – written and spoken
Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Rome
Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a team
Previous experience in technical documentation or test validation
Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware)
Knowledge of basic scripting or automation
Background in aerospace/space/defense sectors
