operational services

space ground segment environment

We are looking for a motivated
IT Service Management Support Engineer
with
2–3+ years of experience
in
operational IT
or
service management
, with solid knowledge of
ITIL processes
and
service management tools
, eager to grow within a
structured
,
international
, and
hands-on environment
.
For this role,
relocation to Prague
is mandatory for candidates living far from the area.
A
B2 level of English
is required due to daily interactions with
ESA teams
and
international stakeholders
.
YOUR TASKS
Configuration Management
Maintain and update service baselines, infrastructure, and documentation.
Track configuration items after changes and support audits for consistency.
Identify deviations from standards and report anomalies.
Incident & Problem Management
Log, classify, and track incidents; ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
Communicate status and escalate critical issues.
Assist in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.
Maintain knowledge base and known error records.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare operational reports on incidents, SLA performance, problems, and trends.
Keep service documentation accurate and support reporting across teams.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2–3 years in operational IT or IT service management roles.
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Configuration).
Experience with service management/ticketing tools.
Strong analytical skills, structured approach, and clear communication.
Technical background in IT, engineering, or related fields preferred.
Fluent English; Italian is a plus.
Experience in the space domain is an advantage
.
